Since the incorporation of TechWald Holding in 2018, Luca served as a Managing Partner and Head of Investments, shaping the Holding focus on therapeutic interventional devices in Cardiology and Neurology leading acquisition activities and taking roles as executive board member for companies owned by the Holding, including Bendit Tech LTD, Sonivie LTD, Valcare Medical Inc, and many more.
Prior to joining TechWald, Luca managed Venture Investment practices in MedTech for 9 years, again with a specific focus on Cardiology and Neurology. Before he was Senior Research Scientist and faculty member at ETH-Zurich (Switzerland) and faculty lecturer at for 4 years.
Luca’s educational background is in mechanical engineering (MSc grad at the Politecnico Milan - Italy) and modelling and simulation of engineering systems (PhD at the ETH Zurich - Switzerland), complemented by a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from the SDA Bocconi Milan – Italy)
